Hello everyone! How are you doing in your respective countries/ cities? Who would have thought that world will turn upside down for most of us with this corona virus. It was only in Feb that I was out holidaying in Mexico and though covid scare was brewing up, but was less known outside china and now all of us are fighting with it. I am hoping that you all are following the instructions of your respective government, which likely is staying at home as much as possible.
At this time of lockdown, Degustabox comes pretty handy and I must confess that I have values this subscription box now more than ever. As of now there is real struggle to get goods delivered from grocery stores, as barely any online slots available and walking to a store is no less than going for a mission. Degustabox is sending out boxes timely and I am loving it. My March box came well in time (and I hear April boxes are being sent in this week)
Below is the detailed review of March box.
Smarties buttons! Totally loved these cute buttons and were enjoyed by whole family. The bag was a great product and we as family played games with those buttons as coins 🙂 These are going to be a hit with kids for sure and with the price of each bag being £1.59 these bags are well in reach.
Whisky lover? Do you like it on the rocks? or like mixing? If later, these mixers from Merchant’s heart, hit the right spot. The small bottle costs £1.30 and I loved the one I got. My partner likes his drinks on the rocks but I like mixing and for me it was great treat. I will recommend you to try their range.
Are you a peanut butter lover? I am not, but my daughter is! Seeing something which she will love, in this box was again great. She consumed whole jar (over weeks) on her slice of bread. The jar costs £2.50 and I have seen it being sold at local superstores like ASDA. I will get it for my daughter again.
Munchies on the go! Yes, that’s what I will call them. Packed with energy and suitable for veggies (like me). These were extremely flavourful. Now a days everyone is home bound, still loved consuming it whilst we played picnic in garden. The pack costs £1.59 and ummm, I will prefer it for little less but not too fussed.
Cool! A vegan drink with the chocolate taste. Oh yes, love it for my partner and my daughter. Both of them shared this bottle between themselves. Available at Asda, Morrisons, Sainsburys, this drink now is part of my grocery order. The bottle costs £1.50 and don’t mind this price.
We as family are consumer of cadbury’s hot chocolate, so getting the new one in the box was a good thing. My daughter drinks this hot chocolate on regular basis and she liked this new improved one with less calories (apparently no compromise on taste). The bottle costs £2.50 and am happy with pricing.
Two amazing flavours Flamin’ Hot and Sizzling Steak. Can you believe my toddler loved these too? I am always on lookout for wotsits in my grocery order and getting to try out new range was privilege. Each pack costs £1.00 and since we love wotsits, yes! We will buy them again.
What timing! I was looking to make some savouries at home but had little choice as grocery shopping has been difficult from stores these days, and this pack was my saving grace. I can only recommend and that’s it! The box costs £2.00 which is usual price.
With temperature increasing, the desire to have drinks more often is only increasing. I had never tried highball cocktails. Tried it for first and happy with it especially as the bottle only costs £1.99. Recommended at least to try once.
A good stock pot always enhances the flavour of any curry or any dish as such. Finding two new flavours in degustabox, absolutely a welcome thing. Got two flavours, one was Kaffir Lime and other paprika sundried tomato. I liked both but paprika was winner for me. These are vegan and gluten free too.
What do you do when you don’t drink alcohol? Settle for juice or soft drinks? That’s what I do normally, but may be not anymore. Good to find out this non-alcoholic distilled spirit. You can get this at 15% discount on 70cl bottle from their own site using code DRINKTOTHEFUTURE Must add that I liked it and can have it on those days when I am not taking alcohol.
For the days when you do not want to cook, ready to eat cup noodles are the way. These noodles do not disappoint in that regard, but not replacement to fresh cooked food. I will eat these on odd days, as taste is fine and so is the cost (£1.20 per cup).
Another box of surprise, most of these were great products, and as you can see for only £12.99 it provides goods worth lot more. I will recommend you to go ahead and try a box to begin with, especially as you can use promo code of “MB6LZ” and get the box for only £7.99. After using first box decide if you want to continue receiving or not. Cancellation is always easy, just in case you change your mind.
PS: For reviewing the products, I have been given this box free by Degustabox, though views here are purely mine and not influenced by anyone.
