Degustabox is a food subscription box service where it sends 10-15 items every month for only £12.99 a month (including free shipping). What more? At the bottom of this post, I will share a nice discount code, which will further fetch you £5.00 discount, so your first box would be just £7.99. Also, remember you can cancel the subscription anytime, so worth the try for merely £7.99.
Below the review of November Degustabox contents.
Just like always, the box came in neat packaging via DPD. I was informed well in advance about the delivery and DPD then offered me one hour slot closer to delivery time. Knowing when you going to get delivery is always good…at least I find it good for me.
As soon as I opened the box, I was delighted to see a box packed with exciting things. I love how degustabox does the packing so neatly, always!
Below is the summary of items in the box that member will normally find in with the box.
Below is the review of each item in the order which I tried.
These crisps were super yummy and I was left with craving for more. The unique sweet potato flavour was awesome, so does the sweet lime chilly tasted. I could have done with a few more packs if am honest. Lovely product. It comes with RRP of £1.00 which I felt was little steep for my liking, but then if you like the taste (just like me), cost is a compromise. Great product!
Bees Knees Wine
The was again a pleasant surprise for my liking. I don’t take alcohol normally and getting a crisp vegan friendly presecco was great 🙂 It had floral aroma to it and I had it with other items in Degustabox. It has RRP of £1.89 for 20cl bottle, which seems right to me.
Undeniably one of the best biscuits around! Got a pack of almond and Belgium chocolate flavour biscuits and they were gone in minutes 😀 Full marks to Jules Destrooper for making such delicious biscuits. My only crib is that these are priced steep at £2.19. I would like it more if priced around £1.50
Happy moment for Mr K! Box had two cans of premixed cola. My partner had both. His version is that these were ok, but not like super exciting. He preferred light cola over cola. Good thing was that it was convenient to carry these and have it on picnic, but nothing in terms of new taste (or at least he felt so). With a price tag of £2.00 probably these are priced ok.
Thank you Degustabox for sending these organic vegetable stock pots. Something I really wanted. Perfect to add in any curry and get nice flavour and texture. There were four pots and were all relished in few family meals. Reasonably priced at £1.80, I am going to buy these again.
Got cranberry flavoured marshmallows from Mallow & Marsh. Unfortunately we did not try this rather gave to a family friend’s daughter and she loved it.
I guess Degustabox team was reading my mind. I was in need of Tabasco sauce (I use it often) and it was in the box!. Yayyy! I have been using this sauce for years to add that spice over my food. Priced at RRP of £2.00, is fine! Its trusted sauce and you can try if you have not tried in past. Caution its very hot!
The box contained this box of wheetabix drink for kids. My daughter enjoyed all four pouches in her breakfast. According to her, these were yummy 🙂 For the price of £2.99, I am ok with this as long as my daughter enjoys. I am getting more of these from local grocery store.
I got two soup cans in the box, one was tomato and other was lentils. If am honest, I was not hugely impressed with these soups. I did like tomato to an extent, but lentils soup lacked much taste to my liking. These soups are organic and priced at £1.80 per can. I am sure these would fit to someone’s taste, but not me in this case.
As soon as my daughter got sight of this bar, she claimed its her’s only. So she had it and she totally enjoyed it. This only explains how good the bar is. These have no added sugar, so good for my kids. Priced at £1.45, perhaps its little over priced.
I normally love Reese’s products and this one is not an exception to my liking. This meaty snowman is perfect for this Christmas season. This was enjoyed my all the members in family and comes at rrp of £3.00. I will recommend this product.
Another box fill of surprises. Largely, I liked most of the products and again a bargain for £12.99. I will suggest subscribing to it (just for one month to begin with to see you like it) and with the discount code below the box cost drops down to only £7.99 for first month.
