Jadu Tea Review – There are those who love to get dirty and fix things. They drink coffee at dawn, beer after work. And those who stay clean, just appreciate things. At breakfast they have milk and juice at night. There are those who do both, they drink tea.

If you know me, then you already know that I am a tea person and how much I love my tea. According to Britain Express, although the custom of drinking tea dates back to the third millennium BC in China, it was not until the mid 17th century that the tea first appeared in England. Today, Tea is the most quintessential of English drinks.
I am a Tea enthusiast and I love trying out all sorts of tea. My quest to premium tea led me to Jadutea.

Jadu Tea
So who are Jadu Tea? They are independent online luxury tea retailers based in UK, who have won awards in Great Taste awards.
Jadu: Means “Magic” in Sanskrit and Hindi, and their blends are magical true to its name.
I was kindly sent a lovely hamper by JaduTea for me to explore the real magic of this luxury tea. I was spellbound from the moment I opened the box. In my box, I had four different types of tea.

The packaging was pretty posh, with those black and golden pouches and the gift boxes with neatly wrapped tea. Packaging won my heart straight away and I thought it is such a great idea to gift tea during this Christmas to my loved ones. However, I will let you read my full review before you decide. As they say, don’t judge book by the cover.

Let me now go one by one and share my views on these various tea.
English Breakfast Tea – Jadu Tea
This is made from Assam black tea and Sri Lankan black tea. This is a black tea which I can have any time during the day, I found it energising as my morning tea. You can make in traditional english style by boiling water and adding 3grams of tea and leaving for few minutes and sipping with or without milk. You can also make it in Indian style “cooked tea”. I tried both ways and this english breakfast tea did not disappoint me either.

Mint Melange Tea – Jadu Tea
This is a peppermint and spearmint tea, and perfect to pick up the mood. In my view this is a after dinner tea or in case when I feel bloated with that over eating. I think I will also use this tea when I am having cold. Simple to make this tea, just boil the water and add 3grams of tea (for a cup of tea), after a three minutes, drain the tea leaves out and sip it without milk. Another great herbal tea! Thank you JaduTea.

Spa Afternoon Tea
Wow! Just Wow! This one was another great tea. It had Spearmint, Chinese Ti Guan Yin oolong tea, Nettle, Dandelion, Burdock, Milk Thistle. It is nice infusion tea, and I will love to have it during the day to refresh myself or even after dinner. Oolong is great to boost metabolism and milk thistle is known to boost liver function. Perfect healthy tea with out counting calories. This spa tea is a green tea and is to be consumed without milk.

Rooibos Crème Brulee
This one is a red bush tea rich in vitamins and minerals. The ingredients include Rooibos, Cinnamon, Caramel pieces (Sugar, Inverted Sugar), Hazelnut pieces, Calendula petals (Note it contains nuts). Procedure to make this tea is again same and simple, however you can add milk too if you wish. I preferred mine without milk. Rooibos Crème Brulee JADU Tea have also won a star in Great Taste Awards 2016.

My Verdict?
Just loved Jadu Tea, and my reasons are:
- The Taste of the tea
- Appearance of the tea
- Aroma of the tea
- Attractive posh packing
- Premium quality of the ingredients
Thank you JaduTea, you know what Tea means and how a Tea should be!
