Degustabox Review – November 2019

Its officially December now and I am yet to receive my December box (it normally comes around 20th of the month, so have few days for before I get it), in any case am here sharing what my thoughts are for the November box which I got in November.

The Review

The delivery was prompt and well informed by DHL via email as well as text. Can’t get any better in terms of delivery, super pleased.

Below is the detailed review of contents of the November Degustabox in the sequence of products I tried. You may note that I get influencer / blogger box and I normally get all the variants of products (alcoholic / alcoholic) as well as all the variety of given product (e.g. if a tea is sent in the box, I may get all flavours to try), but a normal subscriber may have little different variants.

Cheeky Monkey Peanut Butter Puffs

These small puffs are perfect to munch anytime, I prefer them as my midday snack. These are so rich in peanut flavour and butter. These are just melt in mouth and they claim to not contain any sugar. Even my 16 month son enjoys them. It was good to get this in the box. With the RRP of £2.29 for the size of big bag, I guess its all right. Of course if I can get cheaper, I will only be more happy.

Woodstar 1% alcohol drink

If you have opted for alcohol box, you should find a 250ml bottle of woodstar 1% alcoholic drink. It was a great companion to my meal and with only 1% alcohol, it gave good feeling of drinking but not drinking. Liked the flavours berries. Comes with price tag of £4.00 and worth a try.

Double Dutch Drinks

These mixers are just too good. I loved both cucumber & watermelon as well as cranberry & ginger. Mix in to make cocktails and tastes delish!

Per can costs £0.75 (or a pack of 8 is £4.15), and I am looking to buy these again. Can’t go wrong here 🙂

Food Thought Cocoa Melts

Another exciting product in the box. These cocoa melts, perfect for any chocolate kinda recipe. Comes in time for Christmas, to make cookies or muffins or anything as such really. These are available from waitrose as well. I liked them and trust the brand too.

Mr Lee’s Noodle’s

Not bad! These instant noodles are not bad actually. I must admit that I won’t eat them in every meal, but I am happy to have these noodles as my quick meal option on odd days, as you all know my preference is to cook fresh 9 out of 10 times. But for that 1 time, these noodles are perfect, ready in minutes and tastes good too. A box costs £2.50 and is well priced.

Real Handful

A bag of goodness! That’s what I call it. Bag of fruit and nuts to munch on the go to give boost to energy and happy munching. Liked these munchies pretty much. The bag costs £2.00 and I will happily buy them again and again.

Deurr’s Orange Marmalade

It was a surprise to see this new marmalade. If you are a marmalade lover, you should try this. It contains half the sugar and has distinct taste to it. I liked it a lot, but my partner felt it was not this thing. I will recommend trying it out and you may be either in my camp or my husband’s side. The jar costs £1.39 so can’t really go wrong with it.

Rebel Kitchen Dairy Free Organic Milk

If you like milk shake and that too chocolate one, Rebel kitchen’s one is a good answer to your needs. These milkshakes are organic and dairy free. It was good to know that such milkshakes exist. The one I tried had coconut taste. These are available at Waitrose, Ocado among other retailers. One carton costs £1.60 which is little high for my personal liking.

POP Peanut Bar

This small bar was pretty good. One for the people who love peanut and chocolate combination. My daughter had it, though she left it half way, her problem was that she is having wobbly teeth and chewing it with wobbly teeth was a bit of challenge. Each bar costs £1.49, I will prefer it to be less costlier.
