Oh my God! Can’t believe its August already!? It was August 2018 when I first started posting my honest reviews for Degustabox and now I am celebrating one year of writing reviews for Degustabox. If you are wondering that I do this for free? No, I don’t! I get to keep box of goodies in exchange. However, it does not mean I get biased towards a product. All reviews are just as pure as I think.
Below down is detailed review of Degustabox which I received in July 2019.
The Review
DegustaBox is normally delivered by DPD, and this time around it was no different. I was notified about the delivery via text and email. Delivery was prompt on time. Box was packed so well to avoid any breakage.
Below is summary of contents in the box.

Below is the detailed review of contents of the box in the sequence described here in the flyer.
Fabulous was this flatbread. This was on yummy flatbread and I used it as a pizza base. It was loved by whole family and I will recommend this flat bread for kebabs and more. Best thing for me was that it was suitable for vegetarians. A yes from me, these comes as four breads at the price of £1.35p and am happy to pay this price.

Mr Free’d Vegan Tortilla Chips with Beetroot
Never had beetroot tortillas in my life and these perfect crispy vegan friendly tortilla chips were a hit. We finished the packet between me and my hubby in two servings (yeah, I know we are greedy eaters…lols!). The pack is suggested to be at the rrp of £1.99 and I will pay this for beetroot tortilla.

Been a fan of Rowntrees random jellys for a long time and its always a welcome thing to see them coming in the box. This time around I got sours in the bag and were fabulous as ever. I asked my daughter to decide how she wishes to help me with photo and here is what she did, a beautiful, I Love You 🙂 The bag costs £1.29 and I am happy with it.

Light weight and refreshing, this new drink from Ribena was loved by hubby. The flavour (black current) was good for his liking. I perhaps like sparkles in my drink. Will I buy this again? Yes, for hubby, but the cost of £2.00 is probably little deterrent. I will settle for £1.50 or near by.

I discovered coconut bites in the box. These reminded me of my own recipe of coconut sweet balls, very similar in taste. No doubt that I loved the taste then. I felt I needed more in the pack (you see greedy side of me again…lols). In all seriousness, for the price of £1.49, I will expect little more, though happy with the product.

Kallo Belgium Milk Chocolate Rice Cake
These yummy rice cakes were instant hit with my daughter, she love rice cakes and chocolates, this proved to be the best combination for her. Just for her, I will be buying this again. These are slated to be at the rrp of £1.99 but nothing compares when it comes to the smile on a kids face, right?

Frank’s RedHot Original Cayenne
This was the first time I think that I tried this sauce / dip, it was surely hot. I am not 100% sure if I liked it, it had that BBQ flavour, which personally I do not like, but I guess otherwise I was content with the dip. I used it along my nachos and had very distinct taste. It is priced at £1.50 and if you like BBQ flavour, this one may be for you.

Ravish Pineapple and Yuzu Salsa
Oh, this salsa was good, I mean really good. I was not sure before opening the jar if it will be this good. I along with family enjoyed it. Just a perfect dip with my nachos or poppodoms. Prcied at £1.50, it is a big yes from me. Will look out for these in local superstores like Tesco.
Monin Butterscotch coffee syrup
If you make mocktails, or coffee or cocktails at home, Monin will be a friendly name. I have used numerous syrups from Monin in past and this butterscotch coffee syrup was another great addition to my tastebuds. Liked it! Couple of spoons of this syrup, gave my coffee that sweet flavour. Priced at £3.00, it is good buy.
Simply Cook Piri Piri Chicken 3 Step Meal Kit
Ready to make meal boxes from simply cook, just add veggies / meat and follow the simple recipe with ingredients provided! Meal is ready in less than half an hour. I will personally not a fan here as I like to follow my own recipes or curate one, but handy for anyone with busy schedule. This 3 step meal kit for a meal costs £2.50, and is a subscription based service.
Over all once again a great box of surprise, some great products, and as you can see for only £12.99 it provides goods worth lot more. I will recommend you to go ahead and try a box to begin with, especially as you can use promo code of “MB6LZ” and get the box for only £7.99. Subsequently decide if you want next box or not. Cancellation is easy, just in case you change your mind.
PS: For reviewing the products, I have been given this box free by Degustabox, but all views are mine and unbiased, as ever…
