A very happy new year to all those who are reading this in Jan. I know its review of December box, but as some of you know I was travelling during December, I barely got any opportunity to try out products in December box of Degusta, I got my box delivered in second week of Jan and here is me sharing my thoughts on the contents of the box.
I had to request for my box to be delivered in Jan for me to try the products out. Not a surprise that the delivery was aptly arranged on the agreed date of 7th Jan, and DHL did the job of delivery.
Below is the detailed review of contents of the December Degustabox in the sequence of products I tried. I must add that, I get influencer / blogger box and I normally get all the variants of products (alcoholic / alcoholic) as well as all the variety of given product (e.g. if a tea is sent in the box, I may get all flavours to try), but a normal subscriber may have somewhat different variants.
I am no more new to Oteas tea, and I am certainly a fan of naturally biodegradable tea bags of Oteas tea. I got Strawberry one in the box and absolutely loved the tea. The pack of 15 tea bags cost £3.39 and is available from Ocado, Amazon and Oteas.com. I am all in for this tea.
My daughter loves candy kittens and this new flavour of tropical mango was loved by her. If she is happy, I am happy! For the price tag of £2.00, I am ok. Though if I can get it any cheaper, it will make these even more sweeter 😉
I am not a fan of salt and vinegar and hence I was not too excited here. Nothing wrong with the product, just personal taste. These were light weight though had less calories too.
Yummy munchies on the go! I am fan of these products, healthy and handy. The box contained 6 granola bars and the box costs £2.90. I can also send these as snacks to my daughter in her school. Great product!
Again something which my daughter loved. She grabbed both sunny orange and pop rice chocolates and loved both. These chocolates are 100% plant based, vegan, gluten free and one top chocolate. Each costs £1.49, but that’s what a quality product does.
Something for me!! I love cashews and these cashews were just fab! Loved the size of each cashew. Loved the roasted taste. The bag costs £3.00, somewhat costly, but loved it.
Blue Dragon Thai Holy Basil Kit
Hummm…nice product, made stir fry with it. Liked it, but well I did not find it exceptional. May be I am spoilt by choices. I will recommend you to try out yourself to see if it pleases your tastebuds. The kit costs £1.50, which means its not bad in terms of pricing.
Arden’s Gruyere Cheese and Spinach Bites
These cheesy spinach bites stand out as the best product in the box for me. Loved it! Want more! Loved the flavour, loved the texture and happy with the pricing too. It costs £1.75 for the box. Go, get it!
My hubby tried this and he was ok with the taste. I will say its not bad, based on husband’s experience. For the cost of £2.70 it can make a good starter for two.
Probably one of the best chopped ready to use garlic in the market. I use lots of garlic in my cooking and having this in the box was a welcome thing for me. I used this in my Indian Style Pasta and was happy with the texture of garlic as well as the aroma. Still more left to use. The small Jar cost £1.50 and is about right pricing in my view.
Familiar with Indie bay brand, I like it. The sweet bites were yummy. My only complain that they were so less in a pack. For the price of £1.25 per pack, I want more 🙂 Call me greedy…Good product it is!
A superb box of surprise, most of these were great products, and as you can see for only £12.99 it provides goods worth lot more. I will recommend you to go ahead and try a box to begin with, especially as you can use promo code of “MB6LZ” and get the box for only £7.99. After using first box decide if you want to continue receiving or not. Cancellation is always easy, just in case you change your mind.
Kindly note that for reviewing the products, I have been given this box free by Degustabox team, but all views are purely mine and not influenced by anyone.
