Wake me up when September ends…September month is almost half gone…this year is just flying and I realised I am about to get my September Degustabox delivered soon, so before I get September box, here is my review of box which I received in August.
The Review
In August the delivery was bit delayed, I was informed of the delay in delivery and the courier company has changed, it is no more DPD but DHL. Both of these courier companies are good, so I got my box delivered on the date and time when it was promised to be delivered.
For the usual subscribers, box had an alcoholic and non-alcoholic variant (Depending on their preference to alcohol products).
Below is summary of contents in the box.

Below is the detailed review of contents of the box in no preferred sequence.
In the box there were three different types of tea from Pure Leaf. Green tea with mint, Green tea with Jasmine and Black chai. All three of these teas were good, though black chai is what I liked most. Each box had 16 tea bags and are suggested to be priced at £3.99 and I will say is ok for a good tea. I will likely go and buy the black chai again.

Strings and Things Cheese shapes
It was great surprise to see Strings and Things Cheese in the box. My daughter totally loves this cheese. When she saw this at home, she grabbed the packet with joy. The pack had random shaped cheese. Priced at £1.50, I will buy it, and actually I have been buying it for sometime now.

Whilst I may not be a fan of protein drinks, my partner does drink them post his workout and he has used UFIT drinks in past. So, whilst this is a good drink, it was less of a surprise. He loved the chocolate taste and did not feel bloated etc after drink. For the price of £2.00, its a yes, especially as this does not contain any added sugar.

I must admit that I never had bought these snacks, though have seen in local superstores. Finding three of these in the box was a nice thing. Unsure of the taste, I offered these three packs to my daughter, who loved it. This worked as a great snack option. At the retail price of £0.49 per pack, its something I will look forward to purchase and will recommend for kids.

These vegan Jelly squeezes were just about the thing I can feed to my toddler. I got three of these in the box, and my toddler ate all of these. In the convenient pack of tube squeezes, it was good to take it and have it on the go. Per pack comes at the cost of £0.50 and I will be buying more of these.

I did not try this product. I do not eat beef so gifted away to cleaner who eats beef. A can of this ravioli is supposed to be £1.25 and I can not say if its good or not.

As they say, simply fold and enjoy. These nachos were crunchy and with the salsa dip along in the pack, it was a great on the go snack. Btw, I love nachos so thoroughly relished them in this pack. The pack is priced at £1.50 and I will prefer it for little less. Though happy with the nachos. I may buy it, if I find it little cheaper.

Can we get sweets grow on tree? Oh well…I have tried…thanks to Degustabox for sending across these new Kitkat senses. I got two flavours, Salted Caramel and Hazelnut, I liked Hazelnut one more than the other. Each bar costs £0.85 and I will pay for it this price as I found it interesting long shape and made myself and my kid happy.
For the subscribers wishing to get alcohol products, would have received this rose wine. This had fruity notes to it, primarily strawberry and watermelon. I suppose I liked it, but did I like it to become fan of it? Probably not! It is a good wine, but not supremely exciting. It has rrp of £6.50 and you may get it little cheaper at a superstore.

This was nice little pack of surprise with almonds coated with dark chocolate. I liked the taste a lot and knowing that it has good protein content, certainly helped. I will look forward to have more of these almonds. Great on the go or as munchies. Priced as £1.39, I am content.

One of the finest peanut butter. Got these two (original and deep roast), I liked the original one more than the deep roast, but its personal preference. Perfect on my oats bowl or on slice of bread. I will be buying these from local superstore. The small ones (shown in pic below) costs £0.59.
I had never heard of this company, as I have barely used hazelnut spreads. We as whole family tried and our views are divided. Hubby and daughter loved it like mad, I was less certain about the taste (though liked it). The jar of 350grams cost £3.99, which probably would be ok, I will suggest if you like Hazelnuts, you must try it.
Over all once again a great box of surprise, some great products, and as you can see for only £12.99 it provides goods worth lot more. I will recommend you to go ahead and try a box to begin with, especially as you can use promo code of “MB6LZ” and get the box for only £7.99. Following which decide if you want to continue receiving or not. Cancellation is always easy, just in case you change your mind.
PS: For reviewing the products, I have been given this box free by Degustabox, but all views are purely mine and unbiased.
