Detailed review of Oct 2021 Degustabox
October month’s degustabox was all about “Movie Night”. Think what you will like to eat on a movie night.
Below is the details of what I found in the box.
This creamy cheese dip was fabulous in terms of the taste. I used it dressing on my greens. You may use it inside your sandwich or wrap or as side dip. It’s good! The bottle costs £1.75 and is worth it. Available at Sainsbury’s/
I received two bags of these toffee bags. One is original classic version and other is assortment bag. A bit of treat to yourself or family when sitting and watching movie. The love for toffee is unending. I will recommend trying out the variety pack which had new salted caramel as well. Each pack costs £1.00 and is available in the major supermarket chains.
This protein bar was well received by my partner. His words, “its nice power packed bar, with flavour”. I received one bar in the pack. Its perfect snack on the go. Each bar costs £2.49 and is available at places like Boots, ASDA, Morrisons etc.
These were really soft buns. Best part is that these are pre-sliced and does not crumble easily rather hold the fillings. Perfect to make your “fakeway” at home on a movie night. The pack of four costs £1.50 and is good quality bun. These are available at Tesco across the nation.
I am well famiiar with Indie Bay Snacks and in general have loved its products, hence finding two packs of Indie Bay muchies in the Degustabox was only good news! So light and tasty, lovely to munch, almost anytime. Love that these are vegan. Each pack costs £0.89 and is available at Amazon, Ocado and Morrisons.
This is true definition of velvety tomatoes. Smooth texture, red color and sweet flavour. Looking to add bit of tomato goodness in your cooking, this mutti passata is good. It’s new product in Degustabox. Thanks for introducing it to me. Each bottle costs £1.55 and is available at Sainsbury’s, ASDA, Amazon and Ocado.
Nice to find this new flavour in the Dustabox. Loved the addition of cherry flavour. It had the usual touch of McVitie’s in terms of smooth milk chocolate. Of course, each biscuit is filling as well. The pack has rrp of £1.79 and is available widely across the U.K. These were loved by whole family.
A perfect blend of chocolate and peanut butter. The pack contains 3 big cups made with PB and chocolate. A must for any PB lover. Pack is suitably priced at £0.99. These are available in major superstores and convenience stores.
Bruschette Maretti – Oven Baked Bruschette Chips
If you have been my reader, you will know that I like Maretti Bakery products. These crispy oven baked small circles are baked to perfection. These are seasoned on one side, giving unique taste of mild and intense flavour. The pack should be priced anything between £1.19 and £1.99. These are available in numerous local stores in U.K. I liked these flavourful bakes.
A great tasting cereal. Pure taste, no artificial colours or flavours. A great cereal for healthy breakfast. I did like it. Pack costs £2.65 and is available at Sainsbury’s. I reckon that you try it, and you may like it as much as I did.
If you love Korean flavours, you are in luck. Degustabox contained this Korean sauce, with umami soft of flavour. Stir fry your veggies or meat in this sauce to get a yummy meal. I got a pouch pack in October’s Degustabox, and each such pack (as shown below in picture) is priced £1.20. These are available at H-mart and Oseyo supermarket.
In the Degustbox, I discovered two pots of newly launched fusion pot noodles. These were Katsu curry and Chilli chicken. My partner had chilli chicken and he was content, I had katsu curry pot noodle and I felt, I like more spice. These fusions are must try for any pot noodle fan out here. Each post costs £1.39 and is available at Sainsbury’s.
Overall, October degustabox had amazing products to share with family (or friend), varying from few new names (Mutti Passata) to old established household names, however with new flavours or versions.
