Almost half the year is over and can’t believe how time is flying! Only thing that I am waiting these days is the travel restrictions to ease for me to go on holidays, just like pre-covid times. Whilst, the world awaits for such times to come back, at least one thing is going good. This is, Degustabox! Super pleased with un-interrupted supply of degustabox every month. Here is what I found in May month’s deguatsbox.

Detailed review of May 2021 Degustabox
May month’s degusta box was all about “Outdoor and BBQ”.
Following is the breakdown of the contents of degusta box.
Whitworths Protein by Nature Mexican Spicy Grains
These were barley grains with little bit of spice, sort of mexican flavours. Portion size was ok, and is vegan, easy to make to by simply microwave. Having said that, I felt craving for more spice. The pack costs £2.00 and worth a try for those who love barley grains.
Pip Organic Sparkling Lemon
Refreshing sparkling lemon drink! What more do I need on a hot day? This drink does not have any added sugar and is less than 75K, its a winner in my view. Available at Abel & Co., Amazon and Ocado and costs £1.50.
Graze Smoky Barbecue Crunch
Graze is such a common name in UK. I love graze munchies. This one with bbq flavour was not any exception. Munch this at any time, and with not so many calories, it does not hurt much. One small punnet costs £1.00 or can get 104g bag for £2.99
Telstar Cookie Stars
I got two sets of cookie stars in the degustabox. One was caramelised mini and other was chocolate mini cookie star, and both tasted equally good and were goner in few minutes. So good! These are available on amazon and costs £0.50 for a single pack.
Knorr Seasonings
Little did I knew that Knorr do seasonings too. Finding a small bottle of rosemary & onion seasoning in the degusta box was sweet little surprise. I can use it on my salad and soup. Best part is that its all veg and suits me so well. Worth checking out in your next grocery shopping.
Nairn’s Spicy Oatcakes Cheese & Smoky Chipotle
A great pack of spicy oat cakes. This one is for someone like me, who loves bit of spice in everything. If I say that these are the tastiest oatcakes, then I won’t be wrong. Check out for yourself, available at Tesco, Asda, Morrisons, etc. Each pack (as shown in picture below) costs £1.50
Brioche Pasquier
Brioche rolls remains my kids favourite, be it for breakfast or for post school snack, kids simply love these rolls. I won’t mind having these again and again and hence I do keep buying these from grocery stores. If you have not yet tried these, then you probably should.
Not Too Naughty
Another pack of lovely nibbles from NibNibs.com. So tasty, so crunchy! Loved these as my munchies, these were little sweet and great on its own or with a drink. These are available at Amazon.com and costs £0.50 for a single pack, as shown below.
Hellmann’s Fat Free Vinaigrette Salad Dressing
A beautiful salad dressing whcich is vegan too. This does not hurt on calories either. The flavours of herbs and garlic are distinct and makes my salad flavoursome. Loved this salad dressing. It comes at £1.65 and worth trying for a salad dressing lover.
Bertolli Extra Virgin Olive Oil Spray
The chef in me totally adored this oil spray, so good on pasta, salad and marinades. With the spray feature, I get only as little oil as I need. The 200ml bottle costs £3.00 and was a bargain to find this in the degustabox. I will recommend this spray.
Hershey’s Cookies ‘n’ Creme Bar
This one was for my daughter, who simply loved it and was only asking for me. The classic hershey’s flavour topped with some cookie pieces were like a treat. The bar costs £0.89 and is widely available in UK at most of the superstores.
Graze Cocoa vanilla Protein Oat Bite
Another small pack in the degusta box for May2021 was this graze box of cocoa vanilla bites. Easy to carry, tasty to munch and giving just about right energy whenever required. I liked it and will lookout for more.
Hippeas Chickpea Tortilla Snacks
Not just normal tortilla. These are chickpea based and tastes brilliant! I love as its all vegetarian. The pack costs £1.00 and I am happy to pay this for quality product. These are available widely in UK.
Echo Falls Seltzer
How does strawberry and pink pepper sound to you? A rose seltzer from this with only 4.5%ABV was brilliant on a hot sunny day. Loved the drink and wished for more, will look out to buy more of these. The can costs £1.80 and is not bad for this price.
Rowntree’s Desset Pastilles
Last item in the degusta box, but by no means the least was this pack of Rowntree’s pastilles. This sharing bag was a family treat and was loved by whole family, including my 3 year old. The pack costs £1.29 and is worth the fun!
