Detailed review of March 2021 Degustabox
This month’s degusta box was all about “Spring”, aptly welcoming spring.
Following is the detailed summary of the degusta box.
Esprala Apple & Red Plum
Spring is here and so are the chances to drink more of refreshing drinks. This apple & red plum sparkling fruit drink is absolutely refreshing and goes well as mixer in cocktails. Each can costs £1.09 and pack of 12 costs £12.57. Did I like it? Yes, I did. I had it on its own and was pleased with it, could have done with few more of these, if am honest!
Mallow & Marsh
Just beautiful taste of these vanilla marshmallow bars. These were perfect for my go-to craving, handy to carry and offering the sugar rush when I need it. The coating of milk chocolate is enhancer to the taste. Each bar costs £1.35 and I am content!
Yummy fruity jellies in four flavours, are perfect treat to kids and adults alike. I can feel them being great source of vitamin-C. I particularly liked the mango & passionfruit flavour. The pack costs £1.32 and should be available at £1.00 in most super markets. I will say, its trying out once swapping your favourite jellies with these to see how good these are.
These brioche rolls were well received by my daughter. The chocolate filling made these rolls super special. Perfect for after school munch in the car when I get kids home. The pack of 4 costs £1.40 and are available at Co-Op. I won’t mind getting these again in the box.
Enervit Protein Bars
I always look forward to some sort of protein bars and these new protein bars from Enervit were great. Greta taste, low sugar and high protein content, made me like this bar even more. These are gluten free too, isn’t that just fab?! Each bar costs £2.50 and seems great pack of energy boost.
Kellogg’s Crunchy Nut Peanut Butter
If you are a peanut butter lover, this crunchy nut PB is for you. The unique crunchy nut taste on top of a toast is truly enticing. The small bottle as shown in pic, costs £2.50 and comes with the same quality as you expect from kellogg’s products. It is available in Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Iceland and few other retailers.
Some of you know I have a kid 2 year old, and he loved these flapjacks. I received a pack with 4 bars in it and the pack costs £2.00, I am going go get more of these. So tasty, convenient to carry and just about the right size of 40g. Thanks for sending these in the box! These are vegan and great source of protein.
Organic Cherrios Honey & Chocolate
These cheerios are house hold name in UK, but making them organic, only means that these cheerios are getting better. A lovely box of honey & chocolate was there in this Degustabox delivery. The pack costs £3.00 and whole family loved these cheerios. I will recommend this to be tried.
Lucozade Zero Tropical
Not heard of Lucozade? These are market leader in energy drinks, and this new lucozade tropical with zero sugar is again a fabulous drink. The taste of mango and pineapple is so refreshing. Each bottle costs £1.49 and bigger packs may be economical. I believe these are available in most supermarkets. Give it a go, if you have not tried this yet.
Hippeas Chickpea Puff Snacks
So light, so crunchy, so tasty! These chickpea puffs are great munch, it does not fill you but is great appetiser to the tongue. I love the fact that these are gluten free and vegan too. Single pack costs £0.99 and multi-pack may be economical. I must say that these puffs are addiction and difficult to stop at few.
Flippo Berio Balsamic Vinegar
I am huge fan of Flippo Berio products and hence if I say good things about them, then may be I am biased. The new balsamic vinegar range is fantastic and you should be able to find it in most of the superstores in UK. I was sent two bottles of these in the degustabox and both were amazing, the unique flavour is just perfect! These small bottles cost £1.29 each, and you should be able to get bigger sized bottles from superstores.
Mug shot Chicken and Mushroom Noodles
Tasty instant noodles, is all I have to say about these mug shot noodles. I am more of a fan of fresh cooking, however for the days when I am busy, I don’t mind such ready instant noodles, so easy to make, add hot water, stir and ready in 5 minutes. This pot of noodle costs £1.49 is good for lunch or weekday dinner.
Smarties Orange Chocolate Sharing Block
Tell me if you do not like smarties. These new flavour smarties in the taste of orange and chocolate is winner any day. With the new paper packaging, now these can be recycled easily too. I got one pack of these in the degustabox and absolutely loved it (so did my kids). The packs costs £1.00 and I am easy with this pricing. Great product all around.
