  • 1 Teaspoon Black Salt
  • 1 Teaspoon Chaat Masala
  • 1 Teaspoon Roasted cumin powder
  • Salt As Per Taste
  • 2 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 1 Teaspoon Red Chilli Powder Optional

  • In a large mixing bowl, add all the ingredients including the chana / chickpeas and mix well.
    How to make Chana Chaat
  • Garnish with Chopped Coriander leaves and serve.

  • To get the boiled chana, soak the chana for 6-8 hours in enough water. Then pressure cook them for 3-4 whistle. Once the pressure is released, drain the water and use these boiled chana as per the recipe.
  • Here at my place we get small red Radish, round in shape.  I have used them in my recipe, if you have white long ones, use half of it. You can either grate or finely chop it.
  • You can make this chaat without boiling the chana as raw chickpea/chana chaat. That too taste awesome. Similarly you can use raw moong sprouts too for this recipe to make moong sprout chaat.
