In a big pot/pan put 5-6 cup of water for boiling. Once water start boiling, add salt to it. Wash corn on the cob and put them in the boiling water and let them boil for 10 minutes.
Drain the water and take the cobs out. Now take a grill or simple pan and heat it over medium flame.
Add oil and put cobs in the pan.
Grill the cobs all over, till they are slightly roasted to gold brown in colour. This should be for 2-3 mins maximum.
Apply 1 teaspoon butter on each and serve them hot.
Notes
Don’t over boil the cobs. Only keep them for 10 minutes in boiling water. Similarly roast the cobs for not more than 2 minutes.
Use Vegan butter for Vegan version.
