Degustabox Review – March 2021

Its almost middle of April and just about the time for me to share my thoughts on the Degustabox which I got in March. I also welcome new readers of my blog here, and hoping that you will find many more things on my blog, which is more than just reviews. Feel free to explore range of recipes for all taste. I feel Degustabox is also like my recipes, as this surprise box also caters for all sorts of tastes.

Degustabox – What is it?

Likely you have landed on this page when you were searching “Degustabox”, you may well also go to its site and find more about Degustabox. However, me being an honest reviewer, you can continue reading here to know about Degustabox and what was there in the box for month of March.

Degustabox normally contains 10-13 products. These items in the box vary hugely, and you will find, it has something for everyone in family. The beauty is that the box costs more than the subscription cost (else why will you subscribe?!).


My review here is based on an ambassador box, which means, this box gets slightly different (more items) box to what normal subscribers would find in their box.

Detailed review of March 2021 Degustabox

This month’s degusta box was all about “Spring”, aptly welcoming spring.


Following is the detailed summary of the degusta box.

Esprala Apple & Red Plum

Spring is here and so are the chances to drink more of refreshing drinks. This apple & red plum sparkling fruit drink is absolutely refreshing and goes well as mixer in cocktails. Each can costs £1.09 and pack of 12 costs £12.57. Did I like it? Yes, I did. I had it on its own and was pleased with it, could have done with few more of these, if am honest!

Mallow & Marsh

Just beautiful taste of these vanilla marshmallow bars. These were perfect for my go-to craving, handy to carry and offering the sugar rush when I need it. The coating of milk chocolate is enhancer to the taste. Each bar costs £1.35 and I am content!

Maynards Bassets

Yummy fruity jellies in four flavours, are perfect treat to kids and adults alike. I can feel them being great source of vitamin-C. I particularly liked the mango & passionfruit flavour. The pack costs £1.32 and should be available at £1.00 in most super markets. I will say, its trying out once swapping your favourite jellies with these to see how good these are.

Pitch Bloc’O’Choc

These brioche rolls were well received by my daughter. The chocolate filling made these rolls super special. Perfect for after school munch in the car when I get kids home. The pack of 4 costs £1.40 and are available at Co-Op. I won’t mind getting these again in the box.

Enervit Protein Bars

I always look forward to some sort of protein bars and these new protein bars from Enervit were great. Greta taste, low sugar and high protein content, made me like this bar even more. These are gluten free too, isn’t that just fab?! Each bar costs £2.50 and seems great pack of energy boost.

Kellogg’s Crunchy Nut Peanut Butter

If you are a peanut butter lover, this crunchy nut PB is for you. The unique crunchy nut taste on top of a toast is truly enticing. The small bottle as shown in pic, costs £2.50 and comes with the same quality as you expect from kellogg’s products. It is available in Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Iceland and few other retailers.

Brynmor Flapjacks

Some of you know I have a kid 2 year old, and he loved these flapjacks. I received a pack with 4 bars in it and the pack costs £2.00, I am going go get more of these. So tasty, convenient to carry and just about the right size of 40g. Thanks for sending these in the box! These are vegan and great source of protein.

Organic Cherrios Honey & Chocolate

These cheerios are house hold name in UK, but making them organic, only means that these cheerios are getting better. A lovely box of honey & chocolate was there in this Degustabox delivery. The pack costs £3.00 and whole family loved these cheerios. I will recommend this to be tried.

Lucozade Zero Tropical

Not heard of Lucozade? These are market leader in energy drinks, and this new lucozade tropical with zero sugar is again a fabulous drink. The taste of mango and pineapple is so refreshing. Each bottle costs £1.49 and bigger packs may be economical. I believe these are available in most supermarkets. Give it a go, if you have not tried this yet.

Hippeas Chickpea Puff Snacks

So light, so crunchy, so tasty! These chickpea puffs are great munch, it does not fill you but is great appetiser to the tongue. I love the fact that these are gluten free and vegan too. Single pack costs £0.99 and multi-pack may be economical. I must say that these puffs are addiction and difficult to stop at few.

Flippo Berio Balsamic Vinegar

I am huge fan of Flippo Berio products and hence if I say good things about them, then may be I am biased. The new balsamic vinegar range is fantastic and you should be able to find it in most of the superstores in UK. I was sent two bottles of these in the degustabox and both were amazing, the unique flavour is just perfect! These small bottles cost £1.29 each, and you should be able to get bigger sized bottles from superstores.

Mug shot Chicken and Mushroom Noodles

Tasty instant noodles, is all I have to say about these mug shot noodles. I am more of a fan of fresh cooking, however for the days when I am busy, I don’t mind such ready instant noodles, so easy to make, add hot water, stir and ready in 5 minutes. This pot of noodle costs £1.49 is good for lunch or weekday dinner.

Smarties Orange Chocolate Sharing Block

Tell me if you do not like smarties. These new flavour smarties in the taste of orange and chocolate is winner any day. With the new paper packaging, now these can be recycled easily too. I got one pack of these in the degustabox and absolutely loved it (so did my kids). The packs costs £1.00 and I am easy with this pricing. Great product all around.

Cancel Degustabox
