Degustabox Review For February | Your Food Fantasy

Degusta box Review – February 2020

Its 9th of March when I am starting penning down my review of Degustabox which was sent to be in Feb, I am assuming I will be able to publish this by middle of March. I normally write my blogs with no pre-planning or thinking. I received this February box delivered on 26th Feb, normally the box comes in 3rd week of the month, however, I was travelling hence I requested the box delivery and whole delivery rescheduling was done so smoothly, that’s another reason I like Degustabox.

The Review

The theme of the box was “Easter is Coming”. Below is the detailed review of contents of the February Degustabox in the sequence of products I tried. To repeat myself, saying it once more that I get influencer / blogger box and I normally get all the variants of products (alcoholic / alcoholic) as well as all the variety of given product (e.g. if a tea is sent in the box, I may get all flavours to try), but a normal subscriber may have somewhat different contents.

Trek Protein Flapack

I am lover of handy on the go snacks and these flapacks does the trick. These vegan protein packed bars are perfect for the energy boost which I need after my workout session. A pack of three costs £2.50 and are available across UK in major super stores.

Galaxyy Vegan Bar

Galaxy has introduced this new range of Vegan chocolates in three variants, smooth orange, caramel and sea salt. My personal favourite is orange one. All three have the trademark smooth feeling of Galaxy chocolates. Each bar costs £3.00 and available from Tesco, Ocado and Amazon. I certainly liked these chocolate bars.

Lost Coast Fruit Spritizer

I always look forward to the drinks in the degustabox and finding this drink of apple cider vinegar which is low in sugar (and calories) was a good thing. Taking a sip of it took me back to my recent holidays in cancun. Each bottle costs £2.49 and I am ok with the pricing too.

Very Lazy Pastes

I am now familiar with the quality products Very Lazy offers and finding two pastes for slow cooker range was a great surprise. Best thing is that in case you do not have a slow cooker, you can use it on oven too. Just add the paste on the meat or veg and let it cook with little addition of any other ingredients. Each pack costs £1.99 and I am happy with it.

Livias Salted Caramel

These gooey, vegan, gluten and dairy free chocolate squares will likely appeal masses. Personally I am not a caramel person, hence this one is not my taste. Having said that the taste was admired by my daughter. These are available at most of the food retailers in UK and each pack costs £1.50

Jacked Foods

If you would not tell me that these are jackfruits, I will never know. So good chunks to munch anytime. Tasted more like mangos. These jackfruit chunks are big yes from me as they provide much needed vitamins and minerals too. Also, the banana one was great too. These are fairly low in calories. My only complain is that they were far too less 🙁 The pack costs £1.89 and I will recommend buying these.

Mug Shot

Another pot food, which can be made in about 5 mins. One for those busy days when you don’t feel like cooking after work. Or have it at work at desk. Best enjoyed hot! These are avialable in Tesco and Asda. My hubby, who eats chicken, nodded yes for this. A pot costs £1.29.

Another box of surprise, most of these were great products, and as you can see for only £12.99 it provides goods worth lot more. I will recommend you to go ahead and try a box to begin with, especially as you can use promo code of “MB6LZ” and get the box for only £7.99. After using first box decide if you want to continue receiving or not. Cancellation is always easy, just in case you change your mind.

PS: For reviewing the products, I have been given this box free by Degustabox, though views here are purely mine and not influenced by anyone.
