Christmas is round the corner. Where did whole year go? At the beginning of the year I had thought of making a chocolate fudge, however I never got around to write the recipe but before the year ends here is me sharing my easy to make and chocolate fudge.
Pizza and Pasta are ruling the world and will be surprised if someone says they have not heard about it. However, there is more to Italian cuisine, there is this Risotto, which is relatively less known and the word “risotto” is taken from the term “riso”meaning rice, this rice based dish originates from north of Italy (src: Wiki). Much like lots of other rice dishes like biryani, you can have veg or non-veg variants.
Who does not know about samosa? Originating from Indian subcontinent, samosa has gone all over the world and has morphed into various forms. It is not possible everyday that you have elaborate time to do detailed cooking, especially if its a family of working couple, during weekdays it is sometimes barely possible to spend more than 30 mins in kitchen. What do you do then? Eat ready made meals? Eat left overs? Eat junk? Eat cereals? May be all of these! This “Asparagus Salmon Foil bake”, is an answer to these problems. It is quick to make, contains goodness of Asparagus and Salmon (packed with Protein!) and still super scrumptious.
Not all the days are when you have luxury of time to hand to do elaborate cooking and at that time all you wish is quick recipe, but you do not wish to eat that million calories Pizza from a take away, nor you wish to survive on sandwich. Here comes this handy “honey garlic prawns”, which offers goodness of prawns and is ready in less than 20 mins. Serve with plain steamed rice or with bread of your choice.
About 2 years ago I posted recipe for bruschetta con funghi, one of pizza express delicacies. Inspired by same, I had tried bruschetta bread with toppings of mushroom and cheese, and I made this again one of those “ready in minutes” starter. This “cheesy mushroom bruschetta” is really simple to make and you can certainly earn brownie points from your guests, as it tastes simply superb! Thanks to the crunchy crust and cheesy topping, it tastes like mine pizza.
